AUDIT AND ASSURANCE

When you need objective and independent reports on the reliability of accounting information, and when you want to increase confidence in your financial statements, our audit and assurance services are at your disposal:

- audit of financial statements,
- special purpose audit,
- agreed-upon procedures,
- review of financial statements.

Audit of Financial Statements
An audit of financial statements is the process of examining and assessing financial statements in which the auditor expresses an independent opinion on whether they have been prepared in accordance with applicable national and international regulations and standards, and whether they give a true and fair view of the financial position and results of operations of the entity.

Special Purpose Audit
A special purpose audit covers the examination of financial statements prepared in accordance with a framework other than generally accepted accounting standards. These engagements may cover individual accounts, elements or items of financial statements, prospective financial information, as well as financial statements prepared for status changes such as mergers, divisions or recapitalisations.

Agreed-Upon Procedures
Agreed-upon procedures are engagements in which specific procedures, agreed with the client, are performed on a part of the client's operations or those of another entity. We tailor these services to the individual needs and requirements of the client, and they are intended for specific users. An example is the expenditure verification of projects funded by the European Union and other donors.

Review of Financial Statements
A review is a procedure of a smaller scope than an audit. Based on inquiries and analytical procedures, a conclusion is expressed on whether anything has come to the auditor's attention indicating that the financial statements have not been prepared, in all material respects, in accordance with applicable regulations and standards. Reviews are most often performed for banks, creditors and potential buyers.
